Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Smiddy Furniture.


Returns eligibility

You may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery, in accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, provided that:

  • The item is unused

  • It is in its original condition

  • It is returned in original packaging


Non-returnable items

Due to the nature of furniture manufacturing, the following items are not eligible for return unless faulty or damaged:

  • Made-to-order items

  • Custom or bespoke pieces

  • Clearance or heavily discounted items (where stated)


Damaged or faulty items

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault:

  • Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Include photographs of the issue and packaging

We will arrange repair, replacement or refund in line with consumer law.


Return shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty

  • Furniture returns may require specialist couriers due to size and weight

Return costs will vary depending on the item and location.


Refund processing

Once your returned item has been received and inspected:

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method


Natural materials disclaimer

Our furniture is crafted using natural wood and woven materials. Variations in grain, colour and texture are normal characteristics and are not considered faults.
